Objective
The goal of this project was to create a series of 9 icons within a specific referent. For this referent, the goal was to make disease and infection prevention icons for the CDC. The icons had to have a concise style and be applied to a step-by-step guide for hospital employees. The icons then had to be applied to something else. I chose a smartphone application.
The icons cover hand hygiene, using PPEs, respiratory principles, proper patient placement, visitor protocol, proper disposal of sharps, safe injection practices, cleaning/disinfecting equipment, and handling textiles carefully.
